We help providers open Ofsted-registered homes, stay compliant, and strengthen practice — through Regulation 44 visits, mock Ofsted inspections, clinical safeguarding supervision, training, and leadership mentoring. Changing Outcomes also helps providers respond to Ofsted compliance notices and registration refusals.

Our approach is deliberately collaborative. Opening a Children's Home: From Application to Ofsted Registration
Opening a children's home in the UK means registering with Ofsted. Getting it right from the start is fundamental to the home's success.
Changing Outcomes has helped providers register more than 50 new children's homes across the UK. Support often begins with a viability assessment and covers everything from business planning and bespoke document writing, through to candidate screening and Ofsted interview preparation.
Our founder Andrew Roberts personally oversees every new children's home registration, supported by a specialist team of former registered managers and responsible individuals.
