At Changing Outcomes, our training courses for children’s homes are built around one central aim: to support professionals in delivering high quality, child centred practice. Effective training should do more than pass on information, it should shift perception, increase confidence and help people approach their roles with clarity, empathy and purpose. Each course is designed with this in mind, grounded in real world experience and focused on the lived experiences of children.
Our trainers are passionate and deeply experienced professionals who understand the pressures and realities of residential childcare and can translate regulatory expectations into practical behaviours. We intentionally keep our group sizes small so that participants can speak openly, reflect honestly and learn from one another, creating space for meaningful conversation and problem solving.
A core strength of our offer is our commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD). CPD accreditation assures high quality learning and supports ongoing professional growth in a constantly evolving sector. It helps teams stay reflective, demonstrates a culture of development, and confirms that a course has been independently assessed and approved.
Although Changing Outcomes is a well-established and every growing consultancy with a strong track record in supporting children’s homes, we are at the beginning of our training journey, and our portfolio will continue to grow as we develop additional courses and expand the value we provide.
We recognise that face to face training offers deeper emotional engagement, particularly when exploring complex topics. If you would like in person delivery, please contact Amy Bicknell at: abicknell@changing-outcomes.co.uk
To thank the many homes we have helped to get Ofsted registered, along with our Regulation 44 clients, we also offer a 20% discount on request, available for both online and face to face courses.
Here are some of the questions our learners and providers regularly ask us. If you still have questions, please get in touch.
